A true miracle happened shortly after my trip to Isle of Man: one typical barn @Texel [called a ‘boet’] was being renovated and for a brief moment it was totally ‘naked’. I took my chances and asked permission of the owners to document a part of my strands of wool in it. Very nice people, ’cause they were allright with it so I hung for 3 hours – in harsh cold wind -the 275 strands of sheep wool to find out if it had monumental power enough for my idea of a woolen cathedral. I kinda believe it has. I keep my hopes high for I would like to open a woolen cathedral for the public in 2020. Fingers crossed. Gotta find me a piece of land and some financiers for I will need a lot of glass panels as well…to be continued….
